Rules for submitting and conditions for publishing scientific articles in the journal «Akademicheskij Vestnik UralNIIproekt RAASN»
Scientific works that have not been published anywhere before, correspond to the subject matter of the journal, possess scientific novelty and contain materials of the author’s own scientific research are accepted for publication in the journal.
The article and accompanying documents are provided in electronic form, formatted using the Microsoft Word editor for Windows version Word 97/2016 and higher, sent to the editorial office by e-mail avuniip@uniip.ru
- The manuscript of the article is accompanied by the Author’s Reference, Consent to Processing and Consent to Dissemination of the Author’s Personal Data.
- Use of illustrative materials. The use of illustrative materials, which rights belong to the author, must be confirmed by the author`s consent. Other illustrative materials must be provided with an indication of the source. Only illustrative materials with a CC BY license (License with a minimum number of restrictions) are allowed for publication.
- It is recommended that the postgraduate student’s manuscript be accompanied by a review from a supervisor external to the journal’s editorial board.
Articles submitted to the editorial board undergo mandatory double-blind review in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation. The editorial board reserves the right to reject an article or return it for revision.
Authors are not paid royalties. There is no fee for publishing articles.
Manuscripts of articles are not returned to authors. If the editorial board receives materials that do not meet the stated requirements, the article will not be accepted for consideration.
Article formatting
The article will be considered by the editorial board and reviewers only if it meets the following requirements:
- The article size is 14-16 printed A4 pages (portrait orientation), including the abstract, keywords, tables, illustrations and list of references.
- All abbreviations and acronyms are deciphered upon first use.
- The content of the files is identical to the printed version.
- The text must be typed with one and a half spacing, font — Times New Roman, font size 14, color — «Auto» (black).
- The text of the abstract and keywords is typed with one spacing, font — Times New Roman, font size 12, color — «Auto» (black).
- The font for figure captions and table titles — Times New Roman, font size 12, color — «Auto» (black).
- Font for figure captions and table titles – Times New Roman, font size 12, color – “Auto” (black).
- Font for tables – Times New Roman, font size 11, color – “Auto” (black).
- Paragraph indent – 1.25 cm (without using the “Tab” or “Space” keys).
- Alignment by page width.
- Scale – 100 %.
Page parameters: left margin – 3 cm, right margin – 1 cm, top margin – 2 cm, bottom margin – 2 cm.
Illustrations and tables are provided with titles placed under the illustration and above the table, accorgingly. Illustrations, tables and captions to them (links and authors) are pasted into the text. In addition, illustrations made in any graphic editor are sent as a separate file in one of the graphic formats: GIF, JPEG, PNG.
Formulas must be typed only in the formula editor Word 97/2010 (MS Equation 3.0) or Math Type 6.
The UDC index is placed in the upper left corner and typed in capital (uppercase) letters.
The full name of the author (or authors) are typed in the upper left corner in capital (uppercase) letters after the UDC index.
The title of the article is aligned to the left line edge and typed in capital letters.
The abstract is given after the title of the publication up to 0.25 pages long (at least 500 characters), where the main content of the article is presented with a description of the problems, methods and results of the research. The abstract does not contain references to literature or little-known or unknown abbreviations and acronyms.
Key words are given after the abstract and reflect the main concepts of the article, defining the subject area of the research, the relevance of the research, and are arranged from the general to the specific. Key words are separated by commas, their number is up to 10.
The title of the article, abstract and key words are translated into Russian.
The article must contain section «Conclusion».
The list of references is given at the end of the article in alphabetical order. First, sources in Russian are indicated, then in a foreign language. The bibliography is recommended to provide at least 10 references to scientific articles, primarily those published in the last 5 years in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Inclusion of foreign sources in the list is mandatory (at least 50-70%). The number of cited literature is from 15 to 30 references (in a review article — more). The literature is formatted according to GOST 7.1-2003.
The link to the electronic source should include the full name of the authors, the title of the article and the name of the journal, the publication data of the issue, the website address and the date of access to the electronic resource.
The information about the authors should indicate:
- Full name of the authors;
- Academic degree and rank;
- Position, place of work (required);
- City, country;
- Author codes (strongly recommended);
- Phone and email.

Authors are sent a notification of receipt of the article. In case of non-compliance with the requirements, the article can be returned for revision with recommendations from the scientific editor of the journal.
