Tactile-Ergonomic Model of a Human Centred Interior

Abstract. The article examines the gap between the visual persuasiveness of an interior project and the quality of bodily contact with the environment. The aim is to develop a model for assessing how material, form and contact scenarios relate to safety, accessibility and user experience. A review of ergonomics, sensory architecture, affordance theory and material experience studies supports the concepts of tactile-ergonomic integrity and contact verification, assessment criteria and a typology of contact zones. The model reframes tactility from decorative texture as a subject of design verification.
