Аннотация. В статье анализируются социально-экологические ограничения и факторы, влияющие на устойчивое развитие городских поселений Горного Ширвана — региона с высокой природной уязвимостью и сложным горным рельефом. Методологическая основа включает комплексный пространственный анализ, оценку динамики природного каркаса, изучение демографических показателей, а также сравнительный анализ региональных и местных градостроительных документов. Полученные результаты позволяют выявить ключевые экологические и инфраструктурные ограничения, определить риски планировочного развития и сформулировать систему адаптационных мер, ориентированных на снижение экологических угроз и повышение устойчивости городской среды.

Social and environmental constraints on the development of urban settlements in Mountainous Shirvan

Annotation. This article analyzes the socio-environmental constraints and factors influencing the sustainable development of urban settlements in Mountainous Shirvan, a region with high natural vulnerability and complex mountainous terrain. The methodological framework includes a comprehensive spatial analysis, an assessment of the dynamics of the natural framework, a study of demographic indicators, and a comparative analysis of regional and local urban planning documents. The obtained results allow us to identify key environmental and infrastructural constraints, determine planning risks, and formulate a system of adaptation measures aimed at reducing environmental threats and increasing the resilience of the urban environment.
